That follows both the White House recommendation for the military pay boost and the federal formula for annual increases, based on the growth of salaries in the private sector. On July 14, 2022, the House of Representatives passed their version of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 by a vote of 329 to 101.
